About Our Services

If I have unlimited access then I can stay on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, right?
No! Actually, at Cyberstation, we prefer to use the term, "unmetered" for these accounts. Basically with an "unmetered" ($19.95/month) account you will never receive a per hour charge. However, there are some restrictions. The account has a ten-minute idle timeout. So if you are not active on your account for ten minutes then we clear the line for an active user. Users are not allowed to circumvent this restriction under any circumstances. Also, some users with exceptionally heavy usage will be asked to switch to a dedicated dial-up account or leave the service. You can use your account as much as you want, but if you are consistently at the eight to ten hour per day level and above, you will be asked to moderate your usage or switch to a dedicated account.
*Please note, however, that DSL customers can stay on 24/7 without incurring any fees*

What is Cyberstation's primary responsibilities to me as a customer?
CyberStation Inc. is primarily an Internet Service Provider, or ISP. Our primary responsibility to our subscribers is to maintain the orderly flow of network traffic, and to provide our subscribers with access to network resources. This does not preclude Cyberstation from filtering any traffic from the internet that Cyberstation deems necessary for our security or business interests. If a fully functional TCP/IP networking account is established at Cyberstation for you, our job is done, regardless of the condition of your own equipment or software, or your ability to use the account because of problems on your end of the connection. Cyberstation will be happy to provide customer support for network traffic problems, routing problems, server problems, etc. These are our responsibility. Problems with individual software packages, your computer, your modem, etc., are the responsibility of the manufacturer of that item. We can offer additional support on these problems, but we will have to charge $40.00/per hour in 15 minute increments for telephone support of computer problems not related to the functionality of your account.
